Kelgai Ann

      Kelgai Ann was a big surprise comeback this year. It was one of the plants that stalled at a foot tall when the temps stayed in the 80's here all summer. waited and waited, and assumed the 1st bloom would at least be wonky when it finally arrived. Well it may have been the end of September but the first bloom was an amazing blush mocha, followed by blooms of blush white, and almost totally white. Finally the more common pink streaked at the end. Deer decided mid October she tasted good, but was admired for some eye-catching color shifting blooms until then.
